Summary:

This individual is responsible for the management and support of pharmacy's system wide automated dispensing machines, acting as liaison in the pharmacy informatics initiatives throughout the healthcare system. Individual will collaborate with CCHCS Information Services to ensure hardware, software, and internal interfaces are optimal to support all pharmacy initiatives.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must be able to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
• Must have current knowledge of safety regulations in the department and in the implementation of new policies and procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of operating system software, desktop applications such as excel, power point, etc., interfaces, and pharmacy information system applications as they relate to the automated dispensing machines.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and problem solve.
  

Certification/Licensure:

• Current PTCB Pharmacy Technician Certification & Current Texas State Board Registration required.
