Responsibilities
The Valley Health System has expanded into an integrated health network that serves more than two million people in Southern Nevada. Starting with Valley Hospital Medical Center in 1979, the Valley Health System has grown to include Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, Desert View Hospital, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, Henderson Hospital, Valley Health Specialty Hospital and West Henderson Hospital.

Job Description: Responsible for greeting and registering all incoming patients and their representatives; ensuring necessary information required for admission is accurately recorded and processed while maintaining confidentiality within HIPPA guidelines. Plays a pivotal role in the operational efficiency of healthcare services delivery. This position requires individuals who are detail oriented, adaptable and equipped with the necessary experience and skills to handle the demands of the dynamic healthcare environment. Qualifications Shift: PER DIEM VARIED Education: High School or equivalent preferred. Experience: Minimum of two years hands-on experience in a hospital registration setting or Urgent Care preferred. Possess a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies involved in patient admission. Technical Skills: Computer proficiency includes word processing and patient accounting system. HIPPA and PCI Compliance required. Insurance knowledge preferred. License/Certification: None Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient. Some positions may require accurate interpretation and translation in a bilingual targeted language.
