Here's what you'd do:

• The Engineering Project Manager 2 will be responsible for leading a new engineering design release, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage a new engineering design release, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and resource availability.
• Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, product management, design, QA, operations, and other departments to ensure successful program delivery.
• Monitor and control project scope, schedule, costs, risks, and deliverables.
• Proactively lead changes within the group to ensure the project scope is successful, while minimizing risk to the customer and the company.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules using project management tools.
• Lead regular project meetings and provide status reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on program status, milestones, and changes in scope or schedule.
• Ensure engineering standards, procedures, and practices are followed.
• Facilitate technical problem-solving and decision-making across cross-disciplinary teams.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
• Manage project documentation, change orders, and compliance requirements.
• Interface with customers or external partners to define project needs and resolve issues.

Pay: $45 to $52/hr

Hours: 20hrs - 30hrs / Week

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Mechanical or Electrical or Industrial.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering and project management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing engineering projects through the full lifecycle.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Project (or similar PM tools), and SAP
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing cross-functional engineering teams

Preferred Skills:

• Master's Degree.
• PMP certification.
• Understanding of variable frequency Motor drives and their applications.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional teams.
• This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with deep technical knowledge.
• Good leadership, communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

• Typical office environment with occasional visits to manufacturing or construction sites.
• May require occasional travel (10-20%) depending on project needs.
