Compensation
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is$78,200.00 to$130,400.00.

Individual base pay compensation will depend, in part, on factors such as geographic work location and relevant experience and skills.

Position Details
This role is responsible for providing project support services to the Corporate Affairs Department, with a focus on project management for Board of Directors Meeting preparation and logistics and other Corporate Secretary processes and administrative matters.


You Will

* Serve as the project manager for five (5) annual board meetings as well as other activities involving the Grainger Board of Directors.
* Coordinate with Meeting and Events team on managing Board-of Directors meeting related logistics and other matters to ensure successful meeting, including space and facility needs, meals and refreshments, supplies, travel arrangements and accommodations, technology and any external vendors in connection therewith.
* Communicate and coordinate with Administrative Support Staff for Board Members to ensure Directors are informed of key matters, including scheduling, logistics adjustments, and other updates.
* Manage the coordination of expense reimbursement for Board Members.
* Work closely with the Corporate Secretary on Board and Committee meeting agenda planning, adjustments, and coordination with presenters. Develop schedule of events and coordinate with all key stakeholders to ensure alignment to Board and Committee meeting run-of-show.
* Support onboarding of new Board members and/or Grainger Leaders by providing information on business practices, procedures, and activities.
* Provide administrative support to Office of Corporate Secretary on an as needed basis.
* Some travel may be needed; more than likely less than 10%.


You Have

* Bachelors degree or appropriate level of work experience
* 3+ years of related experience managing and supporting highly visible, executive level projects
* Advanced knowledge level of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Smartsheet
* Strong project management and organizational skills that reflect an ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with competing priorities
