Responsible for overseeing the embryology laboratory operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services in reproductive medicine. This role involves leading a team of embryologists, managing laboratory protocols, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while contributing to patient care and clinical outcomes.
Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions -Supervise and manage daily operations of the embryology laboratory, ensuring adherence to quality control and safety protocols. -Lead and mentor a team of embryologists and laboratory staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development. -Oversee all aspects of in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures, including oocyte retrieval, embryo culture, and cryopreservation. -Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize laboratory efficiency and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. -Collaborate with reproductive endocrinologists and other clinical staff to enhance patient care and streamline treatment processes. -Analyze laboratory data and outcomes, identifying trends and implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
