Utilizes clinical skills in working with department administrators, physician leaders, clinicians, and the operations team in the implementation and development of protocols as well as refining of processes and protocols. In collaboration with Access Center management team coordinates implementation of new physicians' services provided within the Access Center. Provides clinical support as an extension of the patient care team including anticoagulation management, triaging patients, answering medical questions and handling all clinically urgent patient and physician requests. Serves as a clinical resource to Access Center staff. Develops and conducts all clinical training programs for Access Center staff and maintains on-going training support for all staff.

Position: RN Ambulatory Care Coordinator for the Access Center. This position is primarily REMOTE. There will be 1-2 Clinic days at the Lankenau Medical Center every 4-6 weeks.
Shift: Day shift (40 hours per week) 8:30AM to 5PM Monday through Friday.

Experience:
1. Five to seven years of clinical experience required with multispecialty background, Cardiology strongly preferred. Strong clinical knowledge required.

2. Supervisory experience preferred. Call Center or outpatient nursing experienced strongly preferred.

3.Strong analytical and customer service skills required.

4.. Strong computer skills, knowledge of various clinical systems preferred such as NextGen or other scheduling and EMR systems.

5. Excellent organizational skills required.

6. Strong working knowledge EXCEL, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office required as well as other reporting tools.

7. Working knowledge of managed care required.

Education:
Current RN license and Bachelors degree required.

Licensures/Certifications:
1. Current Pennsylvania RN license.
2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
