Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in analyzing manufacturing costs, monitoring inventory trends, identifying variances, and providing insights to drive profitability and operational efficiency. This position requires strong critical thinking skills, an investigative mindset, and a proactive approach to partnering with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and supply chain.

  Perform cost analysis on products, materials, labor, and overhead to support pricing and margin decisions

  Analyze and report on inventory levels, movements, and adjustments; ensure accuracy between physical and system records

  Investigate and explain variances in cost of goods sold (COGS), production variances, and purchase price variances (PPV)

  Partner with operations and supply chain to understand drivers behind cost fluctuations

  
  
• 
  

  Develop and maintain monthly cost models and financial forecasts for manufacturing operations

  
  
• 
  

  Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, including standard cost development

  Prepare and present dashboards and reports to senior leadership on financial performance and key KPIs

  
  
• 
  

  Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and standard costing procedures

  
  

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA/CMA a plus)

  
  
• 
  

  2+ years of financial analysis experience in a manufacturing or product-based environment

  
  
• 
  

  Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and variance analysis

  
  
• 
  

  Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.), and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau preferred)

  Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities

  
  
• 
  

  Effective communication and collaboration skills across departments
