Position: Testing and Evaluation Engineer, Lead - FAA Function: Testing and Evaluations Location: Remote Site/Cobec Site - DC Remote Work Option: Yes Salary Range: $110- $200k Security Requirements Must be a US citizen or a legal resident for three of the past five years. Job Summary This position will direct and manage the testing lifecycle for a major FAA system or modernization effort. This senior technical role requires deep experience in FAA test methodologies, validation strategies, operational assessments, and system certification across the National Airspace System (NAS). The successful candidate will oversee integration and qualification testing for complex aviation systems, ensure compliance with FAA standards, and guide multidisciplinary teams through test execution and reporting. Years of Relevant Experience The position requires 20+ equivalent years of experience with FAA or aviation related systems testing and evaluation roles, as well as leading large teams. Specific experience with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or the Aviation Industry is desired. Experience within Voice Switch, Automation and/or Surveillance programs at the FAA. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree is a plus. Preferred Skills
