Job Summary

Set up and maintain public and private events according to written and verbal instructions.


Essential Duties

  • Reviews written set-up plans for public or private event. Executes written or verbal instructions according to customer needs and changes.
  • Manages work within event timelines and makes necessary preparations in advance for future events.
  • Performs custodial duties before, during, and after events.
  • Operates lifting and carrying equipment safely around the public.
  • Organizes tools, equipment, event materials, and keeps work areas clean.
  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.

Appropriate certification(s) to operate the following equipment: scissor lift, skid steer, forklift, and tractor.
Valid Class C Texas driver's license is required.

0-2 years
Must have experience operating equipment to lift and carry materials.
Previous experience with audio mixing and visual projecting equipment is not required, but a plus.

Ability to work flexible hours based upon the event.
Ability to read and follow instructions while exhibiting necessary critical thinking skills to make productive decisions during work performance.
Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work with people in a public setting while providing hospitality services for the client's event.
Must be courteous and demonstrate strong business ethics at all times.
Ability to exhibit patience.
