Overview

Analyzes, designs, and troubleshoots an organization's information technology systems and processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness.



Responsibilities

* Configures and customizes software applications to meet specific business or user requirements while ensuring applications are compliant with relevant standards and regulations; manages user access rights and permissions
* Validates new applications, updates and releases using test scenarios/cases documenting findings, defects/bugs and performance issues to facilitate efficient resolution
* Writes test scenarios/cases for new applications, updates and releases
* Implements new applications, updates and releases or coordinates with vendor and/or internal business groups; ensuring proper integration with existing systems for optimal performance and functionality
* Monitors application performance and identifies potential issues and areas for improvement ensuring applications are up-to-date and functioning correctly, and maintaining the integrity and security of applications
* Collaborates with internal business groups including executives to ensure applications meet business requirements and user needs
* May assist with system integration, APIs and workflow optimization
* Provides technical support for application-related issues by answering questions via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system or by escalating to the vendor when necessary, ensuring that the solution addresses each issue accordingly

* Documents configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps for future
reference
* Maintains vendor relationships and ensures smooth communication.



Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential
duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of
the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or related field
from an accredited college or university. Two (2) or more years of technical experience;
project leadership, software implementations and support; or an equivalent combination
of education, certification, training, and/or experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:
None

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
* Knowledge of software applications, troubleshooting techniques, network issues
and their relation to application and database functions
* Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
* Ability to analyze business processes
* Ability to create and maintain clear and concise documentation
* Ability to write detailed test scenarios/cases based on business and functional
requirements
* Ability to assist in generation of written Technical Requirements
* Ability to analyze application issues, identify root causes, resolve and document
effectively
* Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and concisely to both technical
and non-technical audiences, customers and team members
* Ability to provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships
* Ability to organize work for timely completion
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities
* Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English
* Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships
with those contacted in the course of work.
