Sr Clinical Integration Project Manager

The Senior Clinical Integration Project Manager plays a foundational role in supporting CareDx's EMR Integration and Interoperability initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to participate in post-implementation project work, technical support, and client coordination. Drawing on both technical aptitude and a patient-centric mindset, the associate will directly contribute to improving how transplant centers and clinical teams work with CareDx products and services. This role reports to the Director of Interoperability.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Technical Project Managers with "Additional Phase" projects, such as order form revisions, test compendium updates, client configuration validations, and implementation of new functionality.
• Document updates and project status within plans, SOPs, and internal systems.
• Provide support for client issue triage and resolution through tools like Zendesk and ServiceNow.
• Validate HL7 messages and coordinate issue resolution with clients and internal teams using products like Redox, Mirth, and Salesforce.
• Help maintain implementation documentation, including test plans, user guides, and client handoffs.
• Learn to facilitate discussions around clinical workflows, test ordering, and lab integration.
• Participate in integration testing and go-live readiness activities.
• Shadow full-cycle implementation projects with a goal of independently managing them in the future.
• Serve as a client liaison during post-implementation activities, fostering strong working relationships with clinical stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams across technical and clinical domains.
• Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, client services, or technical support.
• Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner), HL7, and/or FHIR standards.
• Understanding of order entry, lab result workflows, and LIS/LIMS systems.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to grow into a project leadership role.
• Commitment to improving patient care through technology-driven healthcare solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Zendesk or ServiceNow.
• Background in client-facing healthcare roles (e.g., clinical educator, care manager, transplant coordinator).
• Exposure to APIs, clinical data feeds (i.e. HL7), or interface engines

Remote: US only roles

The anticipated base salary range in the United States is $96,000 to $120,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. CareDx is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
