Florida Crystals is a leading domestic sugar producer and North America's first fully integrated cane sugar company, guiding our sugar from farm to table. We are America's first and only producer of certified organic sugar, grown and harvested in the United States. Our renewable energy facility is the largest of its kind in North America and provides clean energy that powers our sugar operations, which helps us reduce our use of fossil fuels. Florida Crystals also sustainably farms rice, sweet corn and other vegetables in rotation with our sugarcane. Our rice mill is the only rice mill in Florida.

OVERVIEW

Reporting to the HRIS Manager, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the management of the HRIS systems and applications, the modification of existing applications, changes in HRIS culture and methods, and direct support to field locations.

POSITION STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES AND KEY DELIVERABLES

As a member of the Corporate Human Resources Team, this position contributes a high level of energy and organization to the maintenance of the HRIS processes and systems, collaborating with HR and IT team members in problem resolution, and supporting global HR and IT projects. The individual must be strategic in the sense of being able to think through requested requirements and apply formal and informal influence of team members across multiple departments and vendors to deliver results, but also tactical in the sense of being able work at an operational level to complete work his/ herself. Success in this role is based upon being able to demonstrate clear value to the business by executing against key objectives through partnership/collaboration with key stakeholders in HR and the business.

Detailed Roles and Responsibilities

HRIS Operations



  • Conduct internal surveys of HRIS systems and practices to locate inefficiencies, errors, or places for improved training
  • Design and provide training to improve HRIS systems and use across Global HR team
  • Partner with IT to implement corrections to Employee Central and/or SAP HCM organizational management data to correct all existing errors
  • Perform regular HRIS data audits to insure system accuracy
  • Work across the American Sugar Refining and Florida Crystals Corp Companies as needed to provide tactical HRIS maintenance support
  • Day to day data entry, HR and IT support, and problem resolution
  • As System Admin within HRIS, ensure security, end-user access, and data integrity across all HR platforms
  • Ability to collect, compile, and analyze complex information and data
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all departments and employees



Project Management



  • Act as a key member in the management of HRIS Project implementations, assisting HR leadership in designing long term HRIS planning and evaluating vendor products
  • Instrumental in the design of HRIS project life cycle from initial goals to final implementation and change management.
  • Provide tactical leadership of HRIS Projects, coordinating all stakeholders to reach project goals and timetables
  • Act as subject matter expert on HRIS projects and implementation on a global basis
  • Partner with leadership and the HR Business Partners to ensure successful adoption of new HRIS processes by employees
  • Act as a leader on Employee Central to resolve current issues or offer solutions for a better path forward



Measurement and Reporting



  • Design standard reports on key metrics for inclusion on HR scorecards
  • Provide regular reporting on all HRIS projects for VPRH to present to the Executive Committee
  • Assist and create reports for the HR field reps and managers



ESSENTIAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS



  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Computer Science or related discipline from accredited university preferred
  • Advanced degree desired, but not required



ESSENTIAL WORK EXPERIENCES

Required



  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in HRIS systems with preferred emphasis on Employee Central and SAP HR/HCM or an HRMS system of similar complexity
  • Experience in implementing multiple IT or HRIS related projects.
  • Experience in ensuring compliance and cost effective integration of programs/policies.
  • Experience writing reports and presentations, including creation through analysis to all levels of the company through to C-Suite executives
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)



Preferred



  • Experience with Employee Central and Success Factors Modules (Performance Management, Compensation, LMS & Applicant Tracking modules)
  • Supervision of IT contractors or vendors
  • Professional training in SAP HR/HCM
  • Process Improvement and related process mapping skills

  • Language- Bilingual proficiency preferred (Spanish/English).

Identify opportunities for HR to contribute value to the business.
