Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Philanthropy, Annual and Special Giving, manage all Children's Miracle Network Hospitals' (CMN) partnerships and programs conducted on behalf ofMaineHealth Barbara Bush Children's Hospital. Serve as a liaison to the CMNNational Office, sharing and implementing best practices across the Network. Responsibilities include but are not limited to leadingstewardship of our largest fundraising partners and programs; substantial financial and non-financial stretch goals appropriate to a senior level of management; development of new business partnerships and testing of pilot CMN Hospital programs at the local level. The position supervises two full-time coordinators and seasonal paid interns. The position requires independent thinking, the ability to multi-task and excellent organization and communication skills.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience in marketing, communications or public relations.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: 5-7 years of experience in philanthropy orclosely relatedfield such as event planning or marketing.
  4. Knowledge of or experience in event and volunteer management, and marketing and communications preferred.
  5. Knowledge of and experience using InDesign, Raiser's Edge and a variety of social media platforms strongly preferred.
  6. A comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
  7. Flexibility to work evenings and weekend as required for events and donor and volunteer meetings, as well as travel to (2) annual Children's Miracle Network Hospitals business meetings per year.
  8. Excellent oral communication skills, including the ability to present in front of large, diverse groups clearly and effectively.
  9. Excellent analysis skills.
  10. Excellent writing skills.
  11. Ability to assess donor capacity and intent and strategize donor stewardship and cultivation activities.
