Description
Embedded in a lean data team at a privately held $11billion bank, the Analytics Engineer turns disparate data into a single source of truth that drives revenue growth, expense discipline, and risk management. Partnering with data engineers, you architect reusable models that align deposits, loans, and operational metrics to executive KPIs. Rigorous testing, documentation, and peer review make these assets dependable enough for regulators yet agile enough for daily forecasting. Workshops and clear guides empower business, operations, and financial analysts to run their own analyses without IT intervention. Ultimately, you transform raw data into confident decisions that protect the bank and propel its strategy. Essential Functions:

Associate Analytics Engineer Entry-level position within job family. Requires appropriate education and required technical skills. Might not have a strong aptitude for reporting and analytics but is willing and capable of learning. Requires direction from Manager and senior team members on priorities, approaches to problem solving, interactions with employees outside the division and with vendors. Analytics Engineer Mid-level position within job family. Requires appropriate education, on-the-job training/work experience, required technical skills. Strong aptitude for reporting and analytics. Assists in the development and preparation of reporting and analysis. Participates in the design and implementation of business intelligence solutions. Able to effectively use resources and skill to accomplish work independently and make decisions with minimal manager input. Senior Analytics Engineer Senior-level position within job family. Requires appropriate education, on-the-job training/work experience, required technical skills. Has built a solid foundation around reporting and analytics and is capable of more complex effort. Capable of developing and successfully executing a training session for a solution developed by the BI team. Designs and implements enhancements to business intelligence solutions. Requires minimal direction from Manager on priorities, approaches to problem solving, interactions with employees outside the division and with vendors. Compensation: Associate Analytics Engineer - $63,773 - $95,659 The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in Spokane, WA. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. This position is eligible to participate in an applicable annual bonus plan.
