Job Title: Assembly and Test Technician Location: Torrance, CA Duration: 12 months Shifts: 2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm Roles & Responsibilities: Perform precision assembly on complex production and repair actuators. Adjust or align components using shimming or other mechanical adjustment methods as per blueprint or specification limits. Utilize mechanical measuring tools such as dial indicators, calipers, and other precision instruments to meet assembly requirements. Maintain dimensional accuracy during assembly using torque wrenches, fixtures, gauges, and specialized tooling. Follow detailed written and verbal assembly instructions to complete tasks accurately. Ensure quality and compliance with specifications throughout the assembly process. Must-Haves: Hands-on experience with precision mechanical assembly. Proficiency in using mechanical measuring equipment (e.g., dial indicators, calipers, torque wrenches). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications. Skilled in maintaining dimensional tolerances and performing mechanical adjustments. Familiarity with tools, gauges, and fixtures used in mechanical assembly. Must be able to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
