Under the leadership of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and Student Success, the Office of Undergraduate Education and Student Success (OUESS) enriches undergraduate education and empowers students to succeed. We engage in collaborative development and delivery of transformative learning experiences, and we continuously pursue initiatives to foster success for all students. The Leaders in Progress and Service Program (LP&SP) is housed within OUESS in the Undergraduate Curriculum unit led by the Associate Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and Student Success. The LP&SP was developed as Georgia Tech's 2025 Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), and, under the leadership of the Faculty Director, LP&SP, will deliver a program, available to all undergraduates, that is intentionally designed for transformative impact: to prepare our students to exemplify the leaders envisioned in our mission and motto. Oversee administrative and logistical support to assigned degreed and/or non-degreed academic program offerings of an Institute academic unit. Facilitate the various actions required to successfully offer and conduct academic programs. These actions may range from student recruitment and retention to program development. May be responsible for setting employee goals, assessing performance and providing feedback and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: academic administrators, faculty members, prospective students, enrolled students. Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in any field related to position duties (see Other Information section below). Skills in data reporting, student tracking software, and learning management systems (e.g. Canvas); interpersonal skills in student support and advisement, problem-solving, perspective-taking, and effective collaboration with teams. Additional duties related to the position include the following: The APM will also work with the Faculty Director and Senior Program and Operations Manager in student recruiting efforts for the LP&SP and will staff information tables and information sessions at FASET orientation and other events. In addition, the APM will work with the Faculty Director and LP&SP leadership to develop and implement the process for approving and tracking student participation in all components of the LP&SP. The APM will serve as the primary liaison with the Office of Information Technology for day-to-day operations of the tracking software. The APM, in collaboration with the QEP Assessment Manager, will also manage the process by which student artifacts are collected and transmitted to the Office of Academic Effectiveness for assessment. The APM will work with students to ensure they are on track to meet the requirements for the proposed Leader in Progress and Service graduation distinction and to confirm completion of the program requirements. The APM can expect to be called upon to interact with students, the QEP leadership team, OUESS faculty and staff, academic advisors, technical support, the Registrar's Office, and other units at Georgia Tech.
