Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) Level 2
Position Summary DarkStar Intelligence is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) for a position at Fort Meade, MD with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and Full-Scope Polygraph. The Information Systems Security Engineer(ISSE) shall perform, or review, technicalsecurity assessments of computing environments
to identify points of vulnerability, non- compliance with established InformationAssurance (IA) standards and regulations and recommend mitigation strategies. Validates andverifies system security requirements definitionsand analysis and establishes system securitydesigns. Designs, develops, implements and/orintegrates IA and security systems and systemcomponents including those for networking,computing, and enclave environments to includethose with multiple enclaves and with differingdata protection/classification requirements.Builds IA into systems deployed to operationalenvironments. Assists architects and systemsdevelopers in the identification andimplementation of appropriate informationsecurity functionality to ensure uniformapplication of Agency security policy andenterprise solutions. Supports the building of security architectures. Enforce the design andimplementation of trusted relations amongexternal systems and architectures. Assesses andmitigates system security threats/risks throughoutthe program life cycle. Contributes to the securityplanning, assessment, risk analysis, riskmanagement, certification and awarenessactivities for system and networking operations.Reviews certification and accreditation (C&A)documentation, providing feedback oncompleteness and compliance of its content. Minimum Qualifications:
$150,000 - $165,000 This pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of specific compensation or salary.
