GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Information Systems Analyst with experience supporting the HR department in all aspects of HR systems support. Expertise in HR systems, HR compliance reporting, and HR analytics is required. You'll maintain the integrity and reliability of GAI's HRIS, ensuring applications meet the needs, requirements, and objectives of the HR department and organization. This position reports to the HR Director and will work a hybrid schedule from either the Homestead, PA, or Orlando, FL office.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Collaborates with HR staff and organizational leadership to determine the short- and long-term information department and system objectives; develops a plan to modify or replace HRIS applications, modules, and systems to meet those objectives.
Collaborates w/HR and Benefits Manager to successfully adhere to compliance and annual reporting requirements for EEO-1 Reporting, AAP Reporting, and ACA Filing.
Works with Benefits team to build and launch annual open enrollment system.
Works with Talent Acquisition team to fulfill informational and report requests.
Initiates and configures HRIS system for annual performance reviews, merit increases, engagement surveys, and other company initiatives.
Analyzes system enhancements and provides strategic recommendations for consideration and team adoption.
Assesses current system and utilization; identifies and recommends improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency of the HRIS.
Prepares reports and presents findings and recommendations to the HR director and other company leaders.
Identifies, recommends, and programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
Collaborates with IT staff to plan, modify, and customize the HRIS and to test new applications and features.
Prepares training materials, guides, and documentation.
Provides user training and hands-on support.
Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
10 years of progressive HRIS experience
Proven hands-on experience with UKG Pro, UKG's Cognos Reporting, Power BI, Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus
Strong communication skills verbally, in report writing, analysis, and tools
Ability to translate complex data into actionable HR insights
A collaborative mindset and a passion for process improvement
Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
Ability to keep information confidential.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Thorough understanding of functional analysis and system design.
Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field required.
10 years of experience with HR business systems is highly preferred.
SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
