The Contribution You'll bring to this Role:

The Collections Specialist has the primary responsibility for serving our Chemical Safety, Jobsite Safety (Checkers) and Facility Safety (NoTrax) businesses. The position ensures timely and accurate payment collection with an emphasis on effective communication, as well as tracking and resolution of short payments.

In this role, you will report directly to the Credit and Collections Manager, setting the stage for your career to soar! What You'll Do at Justrite:



  • Responsible for collections across multiple business units and their respective ERP systems with a focus on related KPI's.


  • Manage 700+ assigned accounts, low to high dollars.


  • Maintain a high volume of daily collection calls and e-mail communications with customer base and record status notes.


  • Perform root cause analysis on issues and participate actively in the resolution of those issues.


  • Track and analyze short payments while working closely with Customer Service to resolve.


  • Recommend accounts for escalation or legal action as appropriate.


  • Prepare regular reports on the status of accounts and collection efforts.


  • Assists customers with any inquiries or requests that may arise related to invoices and payments.


  • Effectively communicate internal issues impacting the collections process with management and key stakeholders.
  • Completes additional responsibilities or projects as assigned.


Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:



  • 2-5 years' experience making high volume collection calls, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience managing an abundant aging report.


Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:



  • Great energy and "can-do" attitude.
  • Creative problem solver with great customer service skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Possess a high sense of urgency and be detail oriented.


Compensation:

The position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $22.00 to $24.00.

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
