Controllers - New York - Associate, Product Controllers - 8223866

Job Duties: Associate, Product Controllers with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Perform daily, weekly, monthly profit and loss (P&L) analyses for Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC) and Equity businesses. Analyze P&L around trading activity and risk positions to highlight significant items to senior management and prepare P&L commentary. Liaise with Trading Desk and Operations Teams to ensure transactions are booked appropriately and to facilitate the resolution of any issues (P&L discrepancies) that may arise in a timely manner. Perform daily balance sheet analyses for FICC and equities businesses. Perform independent price verification procedures monthly to ensure inventory is held at fair value.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Financial Technology, Accounting Science or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Financial Technology, Accounting Science and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year with a Master's degree OR three (3) years with a Bachelor's degree with: analyzing financial market movements such as macroeconomic market events and central bank policies to determine impact on revenue drivers; evaluating pricing and valuation of complex derivatives products such as interest rate swap, credit derivatives, or others and their impact on revenue drivers; conducting price verifications using Bloomberg and market consensus data to confirm trader marks; using the Greeks including Delta, Vega, and Theta as tools to measure risk and how they impact P&L; and working with traders and other internal and external stakeholders to resolve P&L breaks and valuation differences in a timely manner.

Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York-based position is $87,000 - $156,000.
