What this job involves -

You will oversee all local move team responsibilities, taking ownership of strategic planning, customer satisfaction, move communication, and cost management for move-related activities. You'll collaborate closely with your direct reports, regional MAC lead, occupancy planning team, space captains, vendors, and clients to ensure moves exceed expectations. This highly interactive role is vital to creating an excellent experience for onsite employees and visitors.

What is your day to day?

  • Initiating, planning, coordinating, and executing the details for each move project
  • Working with the planning team to create, review, and audit employee move projects
  • Coordinating with internal/external partners and suppliers on project details
  • Supervising move vendors onsite and ensuring all move requirements are communicated
  • Leading regularly scheduled meetings to communicate move details
  • Facilitating and communicating important project deadlines to all stakeholders
  • Conducting field verifications including walkthroughs for drawing updates, employee location verifications, and vacancy checks
  • Walking and being present onsite during moves to ensure efficiency and provide direction
  • Responding quickly to emergencies and customer service requests as needed

Desired experience and technical skills

Required

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in site Move, Add, Change or Relocation Project Management
  • Process and execute additions, ergo and small move requests
  • Ability to prepare and track budgets
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
  • Flexibility to adjust under changing deadlines and priorities
  • Ability to balance a variety of tasks daily
  • Physical ability to stoop, stand for extended periods, and lift a minimum of 25 lbs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Familiarity with architectural drawings and furniture/space planning concepts
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours
  • Experience moving between departments, floors, buildings, and properties to facilitate work
