Location: The Woodlands, Texas (On-site)

Travel: 10-20% (U.S. and Europe)

Position Overview:

Rigaku, a global leader in analytical instrumentation, is seeking a strategic and growth-minded IT and Cybersecurity leader to oversee our core technology infrastructure, ERP systems, and cybersecurity operations in the U.S. and Latin America while supporting our Europe, Israel, and Singapore sister companies.

This role is ideal for a senior IT manager or director ready to step into a broader leadership position. You'll be empowered to define technology priorities, improve systems and processes, and build a scalable roadmap that supports Rigaku's next phase of innovation and growth. This position offers a path to senior leadership and a seat at the table in shaping operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Delivery




  • Define and execute company's IT and cybersecurity strategies aligned with business goals



  • Lead digital transformation initiatives across cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise applications



  • Partner closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to deliver system and data insights



  • Manage the annual IT budget and contribute to ROI-driven initiatives




Technology Operations & ERP Oversight




  • Lead the IT function with a focus on infrastructure stability, user support, and ERP performance



  • Manage ERP platforms (preferably Infor SyteLine); lead upgrades, integrations, and process automation



  • Support end-to-end IT operations across business units and international offices




Cybersecurity & Risk Management




  • Manage and enforce cybersecurity policies, controls, and incident response practices



  • Oversee data privacy, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)



  • Collaborate with external partners to enhance cybersecurity posture




Leadership & Culture Building




  • Lead and mentor an established IT and security team



  • Create a collaborative, high-performance technology culture with a focus on service and innovation



  • Communicate IT and security priorities clearly to business and technical stakeholders




Vendor & Stakeholder Management




  • Manage key technology vendors, contracts, and SLAs



  • Drive system procurement, performance review, and long-term vendor alignment



  • Present risks, opportunities, and IT performance trends to company leadership





Preferred Qualifications

Education & Certification




  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required



  • Master's degree (MBA, MIS) preferred



  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL, or similar are a strong plus




Professional Experience




  • 8-12 years in IT leadership roles with increasing responsibility



  • Experience managing ERP systems (Infor SyteLine or similar) in multi-site/global environments



  • Background in infrastructure, cloud (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity operations



  • Strong familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001)



  • Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and large-scale technology projects
