Description: What you'll be doing Another Source's client, Cal State Bakersfield is recruiting an Associate Vice President for Civil Rights and Compliance to join their team on-site in Bakersfield, CA. Learn more about the Office of Civil Rights and Compliance at Cal State Bakersfield: https://www.csub.edu/civil-rights-compliance/ About the role: The Associate Vice President (AVP) for Civil Rights and Compliance provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for university-wide compliance with civil rights regulations. This role serves as the university's chief officer responsible for cultivating a diverse, inclusive, and equitable campus environment and ensuring compliance with key federal and state regulations, including Title IX, ADA, Section 504, and CSU Executive Orders related to Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation (DHR). Serving as the University's Title IX Coordinator, DHR Administrator, and ADA/Section 504 Compliance Officer, the AVP plays a vital leadership role in aligning compliance activities with CSUB's justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging (JEDIB) priorities and institutional mission. This role reports directly to the Vice President of People and Culture and serves as the primary university spokesperson for civil rights compliance matters. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $160,000-$190,000 based on experience. How you will spend your time: Strategic Civil Rights & Compliance Leadership (35%): Serve as the University's lead for Title IX, DHR, and ADA/Section 504 compliance.
