The Coordinator is primarily responsible for providing data and reports in support of the Coding and Compliance Department. Compile billing and revenue data from internal systems upon request for the Coding Compliance team to review and analyze. Prepare data summaries for Leadership and other departments including the Executive leadership team.



Responsibilities

    Run reports, compile data based on the requester's requirements.
  • Manage and produce daily/weekly/monthly standard reporting/tracking logs as established by management
  • Summarize and format findings and results for leadership
  • Prepare data findings to executive leadership in presentation format
  • Research coding and fee schedule changes
  • Research clinician payment data from billing system


Qualifications

  • Education Level: High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate degree from an accredited college preferred
  • Experience in lieu of required education is acceptable
  • Customarily has at least two years of proven experience in a coding and billing healthcare setting.
  • Experience with database reporting using industry standard tools and databases, (i.e., Sequel, SAS, Crystal Reports, and Excel)
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft experience primarily in Excel

Job-Related Skills/Competencies

  • Proficient in spreadsheet formulation and functionality using Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of database abstraction techniques for reporting
  • Ability to work to and adhere to deadlines
  • Proficient interpersonal skills including clear, concise, professional and appropriate written and verbal communication.
  • High energy, accustomed to fast paced, high production environment
  • Professional in appearance and demeanor

This position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the range of $24.47 to $28.00 hourly depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law, such as level of experience, geographic location where the work is performed, and/or seniority.
