The Quality Control Specialist (QCS) is responsible for the construction quality and commissioning oversight of distributed generation and utility scale PV generators, including those with battery storage solutions, to ensure that the engineered plans, contractual requirements, local and national codes, and industry recognized the best methodologies are followed. QCS plays a key role, integral to the success of the project and the company by ensuring that a safe, efficient project is delivered through robust inspections and documentation processes for all phases of construction and testing. Working outside Normal solar power plant and/or office environment, including working at heights, high/low ambient temperatures, and high/low humidity areas Requires standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, twisting, climbing stairs and ladders, and entering plant equipment to access, inspect, or collect data on plant equipment Requires use of wear personal protective safety equipment (respirators, safety glasses, gloves, hard hat, appropriate footwear, ear plugs, etc.) May be required to work around rotating and energized equipment, hazardous materials and chemicals Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities. The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $87.000 and $104.550/Annual; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. |
