Business Applications Advisor

Under limited supervision, interacts with business partners and/or it staff to gather and document information related to requirements and/or software testing.

Essential Functions

• Proficiency in IBM iSeries applications with an understanding of development processes, maintenance & support with extensive experience (7 + years) working with related technologies.
• Experience in designing and leading efforts to build, maintain and support public facing, secure Portal applications developed in Java technologies ranging from legacy java to java script to SOAP, etc.
• Medium proficiency in modern Java tools
• Proficient working with applications based in DB2 and Oracle databases
• Required familiarity with Transportation Industry and specifically with third party transportation management solutions (TMS)
• Required familiarity with EDI integration through a Value-Added Network (VAN)
• Familiarity with messaging transaction sets similar to the EDI 850, 990, 204, 214, and 210
• Required experience with integration through Tibco Business Works
• Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external IT partners

Domicile Information: This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in business, computer science, engineering, or information systems or related field and/or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Require five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $7,094.23/month - $12,533.14/month
