Qualifications * Practicing registered pharmacist in the assigned state(s) * Thorough understanding of the systems, pharmacy operations, inventory management skills and current programs and processes * Thorough understanding of standard practices and Company policies * Preferred Qualifications * 5 years' experience as a registered pharmacist * 1 to 3 years' experience as a Hannaford Pharmacy Manager. * High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality * Desire and ability to learn, teach and coach. * Open schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to Multi-Task. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Clearly communicates, promotes, and supports Company initiatives 2. Works with assigned Pharmacy District Manager on pharmacy operational priorities. 3. Works productive shifts as pharmacist or pharmacy manager in emergency situations or gaps in coverage. 4. Provides feedback on the effectiveness and level of execution of Company programs. 5. Educates and coaches pharmacy and store leadership on operational, legal, clinical, regulatory, and professional compliance. 6. Trains new pharmacists, new pharmacy managers, pharmacy manager trainees, graduate interns and pharmacy interns as needed. 7. Trains store associates on new pharmacy programs and processes. 8. Supports new store openings and coordinates remodel staffing and execution. 9. Support and research physical inventory and 340b inventory opportunities as assigned by RPOM. 10. Assist stores with achieving KPIs as assigned by RPOM. 11. Any additional projects assigned by the PROM. 12. Serve as a role model for other pharmacy associates with pharmacy practices, standards, laws and policies. Physical Requirements 1. Stand 100% of the shift with occasional walking short distances. 2. Frequent use of computer, pharmacy filling equipment and register along with other pharmacy systems when productive, training or coaching. 3. Use hands to frequently/continuously handle a variety of sizes of containers then manipulate individual pills/capsules and the equipment used to count them. 4. Clerical accuracy skills and mathematical skills including the ability to operate cash register. 5. Ability to use office supplies, communication devices, and computer systems frequently. 6. Frequent/continuous reaching, grasping, lifting, and carrying up to 20 lb. below the waist level and at or above shoulder level. 7. Bend at the knees and waist repetitively throughout the workday. 8. Have sufficient visual acuity and audio capability to process prescriptions and service customers.
