Work Location: This role can work remotely provided that the candidate resides in the continental US, and that Eastern standard time core business hours are maintained. Travel to any of our locations in northeast Ohio is expected every 6 weeks.

Role Objective

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled SAP Integration Architect to join our SAP Center of Excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with hands-on SAP integration and development experience who is ready to take the next step into an architectural role. You will work closely with Business Process Owners, developers, other IT teams, third parties and business stakeholders to design, implement, and support integration solutions across our SAP and non-SAP landscape.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and documenting SAP integrations using SAP BTP, PI/PO, and/or SAP Integration Suite
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
  • Support the development and configuration of integration scenarios (IDocs, RFCs, APIs, BAPIs, OData, etc.)
  • Configure, build, test new integrations
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, improve existing integrations
  • Participate in integration testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Maintain integration documentation, interface catalogs, and technical specifications
  • Stay current with SAP integration technologies and best practices
  • Contribute to the development of integration standards and governance frameworks
  • Maintain the overall integration landscape among SAP ERP, EWM, IBP, APO/GATP and other SAP and non-SAP applications
  • Work closely with our Network Administration team and SAP and third-party hosting providers to create secure, scalable pipelines among our applications
  • Manage patching and version upgrades for applications used for integration

  • Use your debugging and problem resolution skills to assist other team members with technical issues
  • Opportunistic ABAP development
  • (Re-)Integrate connected systems after test system refreshes
  • Monitor and manage certificate expirations
  • Solution architecture and design
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

Required:



  • B.S. degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in SAP technical roles (e.g., ABAP developer, SAP Basis, or integration support)
  • Basic understanding of SAP integration technologies (e.g., IDoc, RFC, SOAP/REST APIs, SAP PI/PO, or SAP Integration Suite)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (SAP BTP, Azure, AWS, etc.) and modern integration patterns
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities



Preferred:



  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP solutions.
  • Experience with middleware tools or API management platforms.
  • SAP certification in integration or related areas.
  • Experience with integration with SAP private and public cloud systems

Supervision/Coordination

This role does not directly manage other GOJO team members

Travel Requirements
Overnight Travel - sporadic - required.
Travel between campus locations in Northeast Ohio as needed
