Salary: up to $75k based on experience

Schedule: M - F (occasional Saturday*)

Hours: start to finish job, so depends on last job completed

How You'll Make an Impact:

As ABC's Pool General Manager, you will supervise all areas of operation, managing staff, fostering a positive environment and ensuring customer satisfaction and proper branch operation. The General Manager will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and achieve sales targets.

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

  • Must hold a valid driver's license with an issue date of at least five years prior to the date of this application.
  • To apply for this position, you must have 3-5 years experience running a pool company
  • Experience in a leading position and demonstrated ability in motivating groups is preferred.
  • Must be familiar with the safe & proper use of equipment and chemicals used in the Pool Division.
  • Must be able to communicate with members at all levels of the organization and customers. Ability to forecast work seasons and personnel needs.
  • High school diploma or GED is desired.
  • Ability to use and navigate electronic tablet/phone, etc. Computer skills; basic knowledge of Microsoft word and excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information in a professional manner.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time in extreme temperatures including outdoors.
  • May sit and use computer for extended period of time.
  • Some travel to other branch offices will be required.

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with Division Manager to implement vision and goals of the division.
  • Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
  • Meet goals and metrics set in collaboration with ABC Corporate.
  • Assists in the interviewing, hiring and training of new employees.
  • Bring out the best of the department's personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation.
  • Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions when necessary.
  • Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
  • Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations/applicable laws.
  • Network to improve the presence and reputation of the department and the company.
  • Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on local market trends/changes.
  • Briefing employees on all relevant information from the Division Manager.
  • other duties as assigned.
  • Works closely with Pool Service Managers and Supervisors
