Washington Trust has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated, and energetic Cash Management and Treasury Sales Associate.



As part of the larger commercial banking team, which includes cash management and private banking, the individual will provide administrative and business management support to the assigned executive and team members, including but not limited to responses to RFPs, preparing presentations for client meetings, coordinating cross-sales efforts and reporting. We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, who has the aptitude to efficiently utilize data entered and derived from multiple CRMs and the Bank's core systems for the benefit of effective client management. A successful candidate will be passionate about client service and continuous process improvement from the front-end interaction and handoff to back-end operational support groups.



This position is hybrid remote with on-site work at either our Westerly or Providence, RI offices



REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS



Skills, Education



  • Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of onboarding multiple bank (i.e. commercial, deposits/cash management and wealth management) products across divisions is highly desired.
  • 3 years of previous experience in Financial Services, Commercial Banking, Cash Management or Wealth Management industry, with the ability to perform the full range of duties efficiently and accurately.
  • Client focused and opportunistic mindset. Telephone skills required, providing professional and courteous manner when dealing with customers, COIs and internal partners.
  • Confidentiality of the highest degree is necessary.
  • Ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities with accuracy and professional poise.
  • Advanced levels of skills using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skill.
  • Prior use of customer database systems and/or CRM, DNA or other operating systems is desirable.
  • Demonstrated good quality communication, interpersonal skills and team player.
