  • Qualifications: Requires a DDS or DMD degree, an active and unrestricted dental license, and a minimum of 10 years of clinical experience

What will YOU be doing for us? Provide participation / input into various clinical aspects of company operations.

What will YOU be working on every day?

  • Operate as the SKYGEN dental clinician in the Georgia market.
  • Create and maintain relationships with the health plan leaders and the provider community.
  • Join and remain active in the state's dental association.
  • Provide clinical input to the development and maintenance of benefits management initiatives and interventions.
  • Provide clinical input and thought leadership on best practices related to benefit design.
  • Provide clinical input and thought leadership on appropriate care rules and system enhancements.
  • Assist with designing appropriate reports and analytics to provide meaningful data for decision making.
  • Participate in Utilization and Benefits Management Committee meetings.
  • Design and maintain methods that are effective at educating providers to improve clinical outcomes.
  • Work directly with Dental Service Organizations and providers to improve their operations.
  • Work collaboratively with the Benefits Management team and other internal resources to provide input and suggestions on provider interventions, education and outreach efforts.
  • Partner with the Regional Director to help drive excellent clinical outcomes, operational service and financial performance in the GA market.
  • Assist with provider chart audits and education as needed.
  • Actively participate in quarterly/periodic meetings with our clients and client experience team.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Chief Dental Officer.

What qualifications do YOU need to have to be GOOD candidate?

  • Required Education
    • DDS or DMD Degree
    • Current active unrestricted dental license with the authority to complete job responsibilities in applicable locations to meet scope of work.
  • Required Level of Experience
    • 10 years or more in clinical practice
    • 5 years or more in corporate insurance or benefits administration setting
    • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Knowledgeable with dental procedures, terminology, and codes
    • Ability to work and participate in group dynamics of a corporate environment.
    • Ability to provide and interpret impact of clinical advice / input to company staff with varying levels of dental knowledge.
    • Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with diverse individuals
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain organized with multiple interruptions
    • Proven ability in successful project management
    • Strong analytical and decision making abilities
    • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

The salary range and midpoint is listed below for your reference. Please keep in mind that your education and experience along with your knowledge, skills and abilities are taken into consideration when determining placement within the range.

Compensation Range: $123,074 - $184,611

Compensation Midpoint: $153,843
