Position Summary

The General Manager of Wireless will be responsible for leading the strategy, growth, and operations of Granite's Wireless business unit. This is a senior leadership role with full P&L ownership. The GM will drive product innovation, sales enablement, customer adoption, operational efficiency, and vendor management across all wireless offerings-including LTE, broadband backup, multi-carrier SIM, and mobility solutions.

Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute a multi-year strategy to scale the Wireless business and maximize revenue, profitability, and market share
  • Own the Wireless P&L and lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis
  • Partner with other departments to manage cross-functional teams including product management, wireless operations, technical support, provisioning, and sales engineering
  • Serve as the primary executive sponsor for wireless carrier and vendor relationships, ensuring strategic alignment, performance, and joint growth initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure successful onboarding, training, and enablement of new offerings
  • Ensure operational excellence across provisioning, fulfillment, and customer support processes
  • Continuously assess market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to guide roadmap and investment decisions
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align wireless priorities with broader company strategy
  • Represent Wireless at key customer meetings, executive reviews, and industry events


Qualifications:



  • 15+ years of experience in telecommunications or technology, with at least 10 years in wireless or mobility
  • Proven experience owning a business unit or product line with full P&L accountability
  • Strong understanding of wireless technologies (LTE, 5G, IoT), MVNO/MVNE models, SIM management, and enterprise mobility use cases
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth through strategy, execution, and team leadership
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills; ability to influence across all levels of the organization
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with strong business acumen
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience strongly preferred
