Position Summary

DaVita Integrated Kidney Care (DaVita IKC) is seeking a Project Manager, Ops Deployment to lead the tactical execution of high-impact clinical and operational initiatives across the enterprise. This role plays a central part in bringing innovation to life by translating strategic concepts into clear, trackable project plans that support successful frontline adoption.

This individual will manage multiple concurrent and interdependent projects, maintaining clarity, structure, and progress across each. Success in this role requires advanced project management capabilities, a disciplined yet flexible approach, and a strong ability to communicate complex timelines and interdependencies in simple, actionable ways. The Project Manager will work closely with the Air Traffic Control (ATC) function to ensure that project execution aligns with the broader multi-quarter deployment roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Tactical Execution

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans for multiple initiatives simultaneously, with clear milestones, owners, and timelines.

  • Break down complex initiatives into structured workstreams with actionable, trackable deliverables.

  • Organize and facilitate cross-functional workgroups to ensure execution aligns with strategic intent and operational readiness.

  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and drive accountability through proactive tracking and intervention.

  • Coordinate and sequence interdependent timelines across projects, ensuring clear visibility and minimizing operational disruption.

Deployment Planning & Communication

  • Work within DaVita IKC's centralized release schedule to support coordinated deployment across the organization.

  • Track initiative status, progress, and readiness with tools that are intuitive and accessible for stakeholders at all levels.

  • Collaborate with ATC and other internal teams to adjust plans as needed based on shifting priorities or capacity constraints.

Process Consistency & Improvement

  • Apply standardized project management frameworks and best practices to ensure repeatable, scalable execution.

  • Support continuous improvement by participating in post-mortems and implementing learnings into future planning cycles.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the connective tissue between central design teams and field operators, ensuring consistent communication and aligned expectations.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or certification preferred (MBA, MHA, PMP).

  • 5+ years in project or program management roles, preferably in healthcare, consulting, or complex operations environments.

  • Experience managing concurrent initiatives with interrelated timelines and deliverables.

Key Skills

  • Advanced project planning and execution skills, with the ability to manage complex timelines and competing priorities.

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent organizational judgment and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Microsoft Project).

  • Ability to simplify complex interdependencies and communicate timelines clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Salary/ Wage Range

$75,000.00-$110,000.00 / year If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
* New York Exempt:
*New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year
*Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year
*Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year
New York Non-exempt:
*New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour
*Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour
*Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour
Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year
Washington Non-exempt:
*Bellingham: $17.66/hour
*Burien: $21.16/hour
*Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour
*Renton: $20.90/hour
*Seattle: $20.76/hour
*Tukwila: $21.10/hour
*Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
