The Clinical Operations Manager is a member of the leadership team providing overall clinical service delivery leadership for Lifespark Senior Living and its senior living communities. This role will engage in the ongoing development and implementation of our senior living clinical services plan; systems and the work related to performance excellence and participate in our Lifespark Way model.

The Clinical Operations Managers provides leadership with stakeholders in support of the Lifespark mission, vision, and values. This role will participate in development and implementation of the senior living clinical services delivery. This role will continue to support the broader Lifespark ecosystem model and serve as the national leader and the standard of service to older adults.

Clinical Operations Manager Position Functions and Responsibilities

Organizational Vision and Operational Strategy:

* Collaborate with ownership and Lifespark leadership in developing and driving clinical and wellbeing services for residents within Lifesprk Senior Living communities.

* Maintain current knowledge of projected trends in clinical service delivery within senior housing, assisted living and memory care markets.

* Develop and oversee clinical delivery processes and outcomes within Lifesprk Senior Living and the individual senior living communities, including training, monitoring and coaching employees related to components of clinical delivery. * Participate in the development, communication and implementation of effective clinical service delivery processes and staffing strategies and processes as it relates to new acquisitions.

* Lead clinical system responses to regulatory or community health directives.

* Collaborate with other health care leaders within senior living management such as Director of Quality and Leadership to develop and implement plans for the clinical delivery related to infrastructure of systems, processes, staff development and retention designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organization.

Day-to-Day Resident Experience Oversight and Processes Design:

* Provide day-to-day leadership and management to Clinical Regional Nurses and Senior Living Directors of Health Services, leadership that mirrors its mission and core values the Lifespark Way.

* Engages in cross-functional initiatives to drive integration and alignment across the Lifespark ecosystem to improve operational and financial performance and improve resident experience.

* Collaborates with sales and operations to ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives using EOS principles and leveraging clinical and wellbeing best practices.

* Directly oversee clinical services training across the senior living portfolio specific to maintaining clinical excellence, compliance and retention.

* Analyze internal clinical service delivery, packaging, and staffing to identify areas of process enhancement through an identify, discuss, and solve (IDS) process.

* Market-wide efforts to identify vendor partners to support clinical service delivery (i.e. pharmacy, medical supplies, infection control etc.).

* Supports and participates in tactics to achieve targets related to growth, retention and resident experience.

* Monitor and communicate performance through detailed reports.

* Maintain and build trusted relationships with ownership, clients, partners, and stakeholders.

* Participate in meetings with owners and leadership to review clinical performance and strategic initiatives.

* Maintain current knowledge of, and assure implementation of all rules, regulations, and standards governing accreditation, licensing, and service provisions specific to senior housing.

* Adhere to company, federal, state, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary

Additional Responsibilities:

* Lead quarterly, annual and on-going senior housing clinical service delivery strategies within Lifespark Senior Living.

* Lead and participate from the lens of senior housing in organizational growth, clinical service delivery and resident experience initiative projects.

Qualifications

* Licensed (RN) in MN and WI (or ability to be licensed in both states) and in good standing,

* Associates RN degree -required, Bachelor's degree preferred.

* Ability to become licensed in states as the organization grows.

* Must receive a "not disqualified" criminal background result from Department of Human Services and may not be on the OIG exclusions list

* Current driver's license and access to a personal car

* Ability to travel throughout Minnesota and WI 20% to 40% of time

* 5+ years with senior service or housing clinical services delivery

* 5+ years of demonstrated experience leading and executing on clinical care delivery systems, including service package creation

* 3+ years supporting multi-site clinical delivery and oversight - preferred

* Experience training, engaging and coaching people

* Strong clinical expertise in senior services delivery, including housing

* Strong professional network

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Broad healthcare, payer, population health and market knowledge

* Strong presentation and public speaking skills

* Strong written and oral communication skills

* Proficient with technology and relevant applications: Microsoft Office, Eldermark, Point Click Care, calendaring, Wifi, Internet, etc or the abilility to learn the technology solutions quickly.

* Leadership: skills in coaching, delegating with accountability, facilitating, and influencing to achieve results in clinical service delivery

* Personal resiliency: emotional/intellectual flexibility, ability to remain calm, focused, and maintain objectivity

* Productivity: skills in prioritization, planning, organizing, and managing details

* Energetic selling proficiency: competitive and hungry for growth; able to exceed growth expectations

* Resident-focused orientation: in all sales and service activities, listens and responds to what current and potential residents want

* Relationship building: easily approachable, outgoing, friendly, warm (on phone/in person)

* Analytical and strategic thinking-seeing the big picture, using data to identify opportunities and close gaps

For this FT role the wage range is $135,000 - $155,000 (depending on experience).
