Remote Opportunity

Hanover Research is seeking a Vice President, Client Services. This individual will report to the Chief Growth Officer and will oversee all account management operations and revenue attainment for our Corporate client services team, serving as the critical link between our internal content and sales teams andbusiness partnerships with clients. This position has phenomenal visibility and development potential.

This is an excellent position for someone who is in a senior role and has had previous managerial and client services experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Client Engagement Directors to ensure that monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals are met;

  • Support Client Services team by providing relevant subject matter expertise and mentorship;

  • Monitor customized account plans created by all Client Engagement Directors to track monthly and quarterly performance against goal;

  • Outline growth strategies for the existing and potential client relationships of each individual Client Engagement Director;

  • Develop and implement effective sales techniques to secure renewal agreements with all clients;

  • Participate in cross sell process by contributing to calls for qualified opportunities, learning about clients' needs and requirements to develop and present proposed solutions, and articulating the value of our services;

  • Support renewal and up-sell business with senior-level executives;

  • Build relationships with clients through demonstration of in-depth institutional knowledge and the understanding of specific account needs and priorities;

  • Educate clients on the benefits of our services through compelling articulation of our business model and value proposition;

  • Execute on client management and sales special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills;

  • Strong command of the English language and demonstrated writing skills;

  • Excellent problem solving skills;

  • Demonstrated ambition and ability to be a self-starter;

  • Proven track record of success in a high-activity revenue environment;

  • Ability to forecast accurately and assess opportunities realistically;

  • Willingness to be accountable for aggressive monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals;

  • Ability to develop their own account timeline while simultaneously supervising the goals and performances of multiple Account Managers;

  • Experience in a fast-paced managerial role;

  • Ability to supervise Account Managers professionally, exhibiting discretion and providing valuable insight when accessing their performance;

  • Ability to work quickly and independently with minimal guidance or oversight.

Experience Requirement

  • 15+ years of work experience with 3 - 5 years being in a revenue management experience role with a proven track record of success by consistently meeting or exceeding all performance metricsis preferred.

Education Requirement

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited academic institution is required. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA or equivalent) is preferred.

Compensation

Hanover Research strives to create compensation and benefits programs that are competitive, equitable and fair.Thecompensation for this position is comprised of a base salary range from $175,000 - $225,000 and a variable uncapped commission structure ranging from $80,000 - $100,000 when goal is 100% obtained for this role.Please note that the base salary offered is contingent on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Our base pay range is determined by the role and the market.
