Description General Position Overview Responsible for leadership efforts in support of world-class manufacturing practices that include a high degree of safety, quality and efficiency standards. This position works closely with the Safety, Quality, Mechanical Engineering, and production management to help promote and ensure these standards are being met. Actively participates in continuous improvement activities and is always looking for more efficient ways to improve assembly and effectively meet production needs. Essential Job Functions

- Assess daily production requirements, capacity, capability and accurately project completion dates.
- Coordinate fulfillment of customer requirements with excellence and accuracy, including management of order changes and exceptions.
- Ability to plan and organize appropriately to help minimize production over time.

- Able to communicate well (written, verbal)
- The ability to communicate in an "Adult to Adult" or in a respectful and professional partnership with their team, other leads and linking pins around the organization.
- The ability to work as the linking pin between line leads, support teams, Production Manager and VP of Operations.
Leadership, Serve, Motivate:
- Able to coach and lead the production leadership team by example to meet customers' expectations.
- Able to quickly but calmly handle urgent situations with due diligence and reasonable care.
- Balancing hands-on involvement with administrative tasks associated with the supervisory position.
- Able to measure the performance of Line Leads to understand where their need to grow, learn and comply with SoundOff Signal Standards lie.
- Disciplinary activities with the production leadership team when required.

- Problem Sensitivity and Solving; ability to tell when something is wrong, or about to go wrong, then gather and analyze data to construct, evaluate, and implement solutions.
- Able to appropriately meet and report production KPM's
Quality:
- Commitment to promote quality products for our customers.
- Assuring quality control process and procedures (ESD, ISO) are being followed by performing production quality audits.
- Able to check finished product as needed to ensure quality standards are being met.
- Able to complete 8D forms as requested and perform a root cause analysis in a timely manner.
Safety:
- Place the safety of team members in high esteem, educate them in SoundOff Signal safety procedures and ensure procedures are adhered to.
- Assuring team members are aware of all needed PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and are following all PPE requirements.
Continuous Improvements:
- Takes the initiative in finding production constraints and has the ability to develop a team orientated solution.
- Ability to generate ideas that improve Production capabilities.
- Ability to develop and manage production Top 5 Projects and to complete them in a timely manner.
- Ability to help manage the Leadership teams Top 5 Projects and ensure progress is being made.
- Assist the Production Manager with operational needs as requested
- Ability to hold the Production Leadership team to our SoundOff Signal cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work the shift schedule, and flex hours early or late with little or no notice when necessary.
- Able to perform job consistently and without excessive absenteeism or tardiness.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Two (2) to four (4) years mechanical, electrical experience
- Three (3) + years leadership/supervisory experience.
- Basic supervisory skills (planning, organizing, employee relations, housekeeping)
- Basics of planning and scheduling as they relate to the production floor.
- Knowledgeable of specific Line Lead tasks, leadership skills and the ability to train and develop new leadership team members.
- Intermediate Computer/PC skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and with team to meet goals.
- Strong attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Able to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, rotate, and/or reach throughout an entire shift.
- Must be able to handle and work with small parts.
