Oncology RN - Make a Difference Every Day in Cancer Care
Department: Oncology / Infusion Oncology Are you a compassionate RN ready to be part of something bigger? Join our Oncology team and provide life-changing care to patients at every stage of their cancer journey. As an Oncology RN, you'll work alongside world-class oncologists, nurse navigators, social workers, and palliative care teams to deliver specialized, patient-centered care with empathy and clinical excellence. What You'll Do: Perform thorough patient assessments and interpret oncology care plans Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and symptom management medications safely Monitor and report patient responses, side effects, and treatment outcomes Provide education and emotional support to patients and families Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to adjust and optimize care plans Advocate for the patient's voice in all aspects of care Why This Role is Special: High-Impact Work: Be a guiding light for patients navigating diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship Collaborative Culture: Work with a compassionate and tight-knit oncology team Cutting-Edge Treatments: Support innovative therapies and clinical trials Continuous Learning: Oncology-specific training and ongoing professional development What We're Looking For: Current RN license in [State] BLS certification required ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification (or willingness to obtain) Oncology experience 2 or more years Education Generic - HR Only required Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] Preferred Data Conversion - Various Issuers required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS (AHA)] - American Heart Association (AHA) preferred Neonatal Resuscitation Certification [NRP] - American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification [PALS] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred Physical Requirements
