Essential Functions

Support Trust Administrators, including account setup and maintenance, client distributions, and bill payments.

Prepare and monitor investment profiles and assist with quarterly investment reviews.

Ensure timely and accurate entry of account information into internal systems.

Assist with completion of initial and annual trust account reviews.

Track and coordinate trust account opening and closing, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Authorize and prepare bill payment requests for pre-approved vendors accurately and ensuring compliance.

Research trust-related matters and provide conclusions for Trust Officer review.

Track and maintain real estate assets including insurance, appraisals, and property tax payments.

Respond to client inquiries and coordinate with Trust Administrators to resolve issues efficiently.

Generate routine trust reports and account statements for internal and external customers.

Initiate and monitor asset collection, ensuring complete and timely receipt of all assets.

Provide support for tax reporting, including tracking payments and filings to ensure compliance.

Reviews, and makes recommendations for operational procedures changes to improve efficiencies, accuracy, streamlining and compliance.

Digitize and archive client documents in accordance with retention policies.

Support internal, state, and FDIC audit processes.

Provide cross-functional support within the trust operations department.

Prepare discretionary distribution requests for Administrator's review.

Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including trust-related client communications.

Prepare account inventories and annual accountings.

Work Environment

This job operates in a bank branch office. It is a professional environment. Currently this position is fully in person. As the role evolves, hybrid work may be available.

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Required Education and Experience

Minimum 3 years of Trust Operations/Administration, Bank Operations, or Bank Compliance experience.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with the ability to work in high pressure, time sensitive environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Education and Experience

Associate degree in related field.

Experience with trust accounting systems.
