MUST-HAVE: Bilingual is English and Spanish is REQUIRED. * Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner * Answer and route incoming calls; respond to inquiries and take messages as needed * Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments using the electronic health record (EHR) system * Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays or sliding scale payments * Assist with patient registration, intake forms, and updating demographic information * Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and Lifelong's privacy policies * Coordinate with medical assistants, providers, and other staff to ensure efficient patient flow * Support outreach and follow-up efforts for missed appointments or preventive care * Maintain a clean and organized reception area Skills & Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent required * Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical or community health setting preferred * Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) must have * Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., NextGen, Epic) a plus * Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills * Commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
