The North Fayette County Municipal Authority will be
accepting applications for a GIS-COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST until August 15, 2025 WAGE SCHEDULE Rate of pay shall commensurate with
experience. $58,000-$60,000. HOURS Normal working hours are 6: 30 AM to 3: 30 PM Monday thru Friday with one hour lunch period, but will be flexible. Candidate must have a current PA Driver's License. BENEFITS Hospitalization, dental, vision, 13% contribu- tion to 457 Retirement Plan Paid vacation as earned, sick leave as earned, personal days Duties: The GIS-Compliance Specialist must be willing to learn all facets of the utility system. The GIS-Compliance Specialist must be able to lead office and field personnel while providing a fair and sincere customer service to the customers of the Authority. On a daily basis the GIS-Compliance Specialist will update drawings, schedule work orders for lead and copper program, and resolve problematic work orders with service crews and communicate directly with customers on a solution. The GIS-compliance specialist must keep up to date on GIS equipment, DEP rules and regulations and must have the capability to provide training sessions to the workforce. The GIS-Compliance Specialist will be in charge of the GIS Mapping System, Lead and Copper Inventory System, Rave Alert System, meter inventory program, valve exercising and replacement program and employee training. The GIS-Compliance Specialist shall report directly to the Distribution Manager, Customer Service Manager and General Manager. Qualifications: The GIS-Compliance Specialist must have excellent computer skills, be proficient in Microsoft office applications, have communication skills and experience working in a professional office environment. The GIS-Compliance Specialist must be able to communicate well and convey the regulations of the Authority concerning water service. The GIS-Compliance Specialist must have a thorough working knowledge of Excel. Experience in GIS and the waterworks industry will be taken into consideration. Pre-employment physicals, testing the ability to lift, will be required. There will also be Criminal Background checks, drug and alcohol screening and previous employment inquiries. The type of work you will be performing requires work boots, work clothing (long pants) shirts and items that you may want for protection from the environment. Personal cell phone calls during working hours are prohibited. Do expect to be exposed to the outdoor environment and the conditions expressed in this letter. The GIS-Compliance Specialist shall possess a valid PA Driver's License at all times in the performance of his duties. Standing for periods of up to 4 hours may be required. Walking 30 degree inclines for distances of 1,000 feet and climbing vertical ladders to a height of 40 feet, ascend and descend stairs and stationary vertical ladders as part of normal work activity and in emergency egress situations.
