Job Summary

The Wolfe University Center (WUC) is currently seeking a dynamic and creative Temporary Marketing Assistant to join our team of professionals. The chosen candidate will use their creativity and technical skills to assist with marketing, design, multimedia production, and communication.

Duties include:

  • Design and Creation of Print and Digital Materials: Develop creative materials that adhere to FIU's brand standards, using Adobe Creative Cloud and other applications for print, digital media, web, and social media platforms. Event Coverage: Provide photo and video coverage during events and programming.
  • Image and Video Editing: Conduct image retouching, manipulation, and video editing, ensuring the quality and appropriateness for various platforms. This includes story-boarding, working with editing software, captioning, and creating graphic elements.
  • Social Media Management: Assist in creating and publishing social media posts, and aid in the development and implementation of social media/marketing calendars.


Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with social media platforms.
  • Basic level of Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team.
  • Demonstrated professional communication and demeanor when working with team members, students, and FIU leadership.
  • Comfortable working in a shared space environment.
