The Onboarding Coordinator is part of a larger Training team supporting and influencing the Tesla culture at Gigafactory Nevada. What You'll Do
- Facilitate production process training, new hire onboarding, coordinate with leads on training plans, schedules, new/cross training; Emphasize safety, quality, productivity
- Work hands-on in production to understand processes and improve training. Relay updated processes and documentation
- In-depth knowledge of MOS transactions to track production processes. Ensure ISO 9001 compliance
- Identify quality/safety issues, suggest improvements, monitor certification system, and apply continuous improvement strategies
- Learn new skills, keep updated on process revisions, cross-train for flexibility and efficiency
- Audit for training compliance and adherence to instructions
- Use LMS to track, assign, and report on training; Use Outlook to communicate; Promote continuous training improvement
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years production experience, 1-2 years training experience preferred
- Knowledge of production processes and methodology
- Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, proficient in MS Office, familiar with continuous improvement methodologies, demonstrates leadership, accountability and understanding of adult learning principles
- Able to stand/walk for extended periods, go up/down stairs, lift up to 50 lbs., perform repetitive physical motions
- Potential exposure to confined spaces and hazardous materials
- Able to wear required PPE and adhere to safety rules and guidelines
- Must have command of English language, both written and verbal
