About this opportunity Ericsson seeks a Developer in Austin, Texas; hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance, who will serve to debug system and ASIC issues across multiple IP and system domains found within the product during pre-silicon, bring-up, validation, and production phases. What you will do: Provide root cause analysis and direction for closure of issues to both internal and customer-facing/external teams. Define and perform Debug IP functional test plans and validation strategies. Provide requirements for SOC Design-for-Debug features, platform, firmware, and other tools to facilitate debug. Drive technical innovations in order to improve Ericsson's capabilities in SOC debug, including debug tool and script development as well as technical and methodology improvements. Hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance. You will bring: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience as a Developer, Engineer, or related field. OR Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Developer, Engineer or related field. Experience (2yrs w/ Masters or 5yrs w/ Bachelors) to include: ASIC hardware development, utilizing system level architecture, hardware, and software to debug and root cause ASIC hardware issues; performing ASIC and platform-level debug; and using standard ASIC debug and programming tools.
