The Opportunity:

As a seasoned cyber professional, you know that understanding adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures is vital to producing the intel that enables the success of mission owners. At Booz Allen, you can share your skills and high-level expertise to inform strategies and mitigate the most pressing vulnerabilities. Here, you aren't just deciphering reports. As a cyber threat specialist on our team focusing on cryptocurrency and other cyber crimes, you'll help customers solve problems using the latest tools like Chainalysis and TRM Labs. You'll work alongside multiple stakeholders to evaluate risk and make meaningful recommendations. You'll oversee the monitoring of security environments and identify security gaps through the eyes of an adversary.

In this role, you'll impact our customer and their unique mission by providing subject matter expertise to identify the right data, tools, KPIs, and best practices.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in data analysis, network development, and interagency collaboration

  • 7+ years of experience using TRM or Chainanalysis

  • 5+ years of experience with Counter Threat Finance (CTF)

  • 5+ years of experience leading investigations or projects

  • Experience investigating complex cases involving illicit activities such as phishing, blockchain exploits, hacks, terrorism finance, account takeovers, money laundering, or ransomware

  • Experience with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes and procedures

  • Experience in military or Intelligence Community support in CTF or network development

  • Ability to advise senior government clients on crypto policy, targeting, and analytics

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Master's degree in Finance or a related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
