Position Summary: The Sr. Manager of Global Benefits and Mobility will be responsible for leading all aspects of global rewards, mobility, including tax, payroll, equity, immigration, relocation, and international assignments including permanent, temporary, and commuting. The Sr. Manager of Global Benefits and Mobility will be responsible for governance, strategy, design, compliance, global employment planning, immigration strategy, and global rewards planning. The Sr. Manager of Global Benefits and Mobility will ensure that Dover's strategy, philosophy, and practices in other parts of the globe are consistently aligned with business objectives, best practices, local laws, and regulations. The Sr. Manager of Global Benefits and Mobility will work closely with external business partners and internal stakeholders across the organization and will leverage data-driven insights that facilitate and influence the strategy and design of innovative, cost effective, and market-competitive reward programs. This leader will partner directly with global teams across Dover operating companies and will interface with corporate functional leaders in finance, legal, tax, and HR operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage Global Benefits governance.
- establishing annual priorities and overall strategic direction of all global benefit and retirement programs to ensure alignment with Dover's operating companies strategic objectives and will continuously assess market trends and local regulatory requirements to design and implement rewards programs, develop processes, policies and procedures aligned to the operating company's business strategy and competitive practices with an overall objective of maximizing employee productivity, performance, and engagement. Responsible for the global benefits governance strategy which includes working with operating companies on plan design changes, plan renewals for non-US life, risk, health, and retirement plans.
- Responsible for managing the annual global benefits reporting of statutory, health, life, disability, retirement plans across the company including working with Dover's accounting group for year-end financial planning.
- Provide research and support for Dover's Benefits Committee meetings on reporting on all non-US benefit plans.
- Provide guidance on global regulatory changes to Operating Company leaders.
- Benchmark benefit plans in each country and work with local consultants or brokers to create plan design changes, change management and communication strategy.
- Manage HR Diligence for Mergers & Acquisition & Divestitures
- Lead pre-close diligence planning for HR function including reviewing benefit plans, compensation plans, equity plans, bonus plans and finalize a comparison analysis.
- Work with Operating Company leaders to finalize diligence planning including talent assessments, benefits, and compensation package analysis.
- Lead diligence for multiple deals concurrently.
- Lead Dover's Global Employment Council
- Responsible for providing recommendations on complex global employment situations were employment or hosting decisions are made in emerging markets for an Operating Company
- Responsible for researching local employment rules while liaising with local attorneys and experts to come up with recommendations andsupport Operating Company recruiting needs.
- Coordinate cross-functional team of legal, tax, human resources to review hosting arrangements globally.
- Review independent contractor arrangements and ensure compliance with local labor and employment.
- Global Rewards Planning
- Responsible for establishing compensation packages for global hosting situations including net to net calculations.
- Manage country councils to create cross collaboration amongst operation companies within a country.
- Support Dover's effort to create regional compensation practices and create more alignment amongst companies.
- Review and research rewards strategies that Dover can establish regionally.
- Support development of global wellbeing strategy
- Global Mobility and Immigration Planning and Support
- Oversee global immigration vendor for all immigration matters.
- Main point of contact for Operating Company leaders on immigration strategy for special situations to meet business needs.
- Subject matter expert on global immigration matters and provide updates to entire company (ie. Brexit, US changes, etc)
- Manage and assess current mobility programs, practices, and policies alongside the business needs; as well as tax, social and legislative changes with the goal of delivering high level services to our stakeholders.
- Understand and facilitate the implementation of Dover's policies and guidelines and provide meaningful analysis to management for use in making decisions related to mobile talent.
- Process and operational understanding of key benefits such as incentive plan, equity program and pension plan participation.
- Manage the strategic business partnerships, program support and relationship with all external vendors and third parties to deliver quality benefits and services while controlling costs.
- Manage global program spend and costs recharge processes.
Qualifications / Requirements/Desired Characteristics:
- Bachelors in business administration, finance, accounting, Human Resources, or related field degree is required.
- 10+ years of working experience in global benefits preferably in manufacturing
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential is preferred.
- Experience in international assignments management, relocation, compensation & benefits, vendor management, payroll, and equity programs
- Knowledge of tax, social security and immigration principles and regulations across multiple geographies
- Experience working with multiple vendors, including vendor management, and leading due diligence process.
- Ability to cultivate effective relationships within Human Resources and cross-functionally at all levels in the organization.
- Ability to manage and operate at both a strategic and direct level of conducting analysis, design and/or administration of global benefits programs.
- Ability to lead large scale global implementation of a new framework and effectively influences concept and outcomes.
- Provide strategic thought leadership, critical thinking, and business judgment.
- Experience with change management, enterprise-wide communications and adept at effective communication and influencing.
- Strong organizational, analytical skills, project management skills and results driven.
- Capable of effectively managing complex projects and comfortable leading in ambiguity.

Work Arrangement : Hybrid Pay Range: $160,000.00 - $185,000.00annually Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
