Manufacturing Associate

• Operate die casting machines, including startup, shutdown, and routine maintenance tasks like cleaning and preheating dies.
• Trim and inspect cast parts using hand tools and quality gauges, ensuring parts meet standards.
• Perform Q-time checks and monitor part flow, identifying and responding to abnormal process conditions.
• Use powered pallet jacks to move baskets and handle materials efficiently.
• Complete production reports, including downtime, scrap, and reject tracking, and update production boards.
• Follow safety protocols, perform equipment safety checks, and adhere to lockout/tagout and Stop, Call, Wait procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, supporting 5S and segregation procedures for non-conforming products.
