This is a full-time, 35 hours/week position with a schedule as follows:



  • Monday-Thursday 8:15AM-4:30PM
  • Fridays 8:15AM-12:00PM



The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support for The Salvation Army, Sheboygan Corps leadership.

About the role:



  • Answer, screen and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Receive and direct visitors and clients.
  • Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying and mail processing.
  • Receive and process requests for information on social services programs. Refers to other agencies as appropriate.
  • Record and distribute staff meeting minutes.
  • Collect and maintain contact information for staff and other corps groups.
  • Pre-screen Social Service Clients and schedule appointments as necessary.
  • Process applications and ID for We Energies Positive ID.
  • Coordinates monthly food pantry and community meal schedules (for Sheboygan County providers).
  • Coordinate the public shower schedule and ensure showers are cleaned and sanitized between users.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly lobby area, ensuring community literature and donation materials are well-stocked and current


Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Two years of administrative/clerical experience. Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.
