We're seeking an experienced Finance Manager with a strong background in accounts payable to oversee and optimize our client's payables process from end to end. This is a critical role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and is passionate about financial accuracy, vendor relationships, and team leadership.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $34.00 - $38.40/hr.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor reconciliations
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments, avoiding late fees and penalties
  • Build strong vendor relationships, negotiate payment terms, and resolve discrepancies
  • Implement and enforce internal controls to safeguard financial integrity
  • Maintain accurate records in the general ledger and provide clear, consistent documentation
  • Generate and analyze AP reports, tracking metrics like invoice volume, payment timeliness, and vendor spend
  • Support month-end and year-end closings, ensuring all payables are reconciled and recorded
  • Supervise and develop the AP team, providing training, mentorship, and clear direction
  • Drive process improvements to streamline workflow and increase efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate across departments, including Purchasing and Accounting, for smooth operational alignment
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting by analyzing AP trends and data
  • Support internal and external audits with required documentation and insights
  • Report to leadership with financial summaries, dashboards, and recommendations




Qualifications:



  • 3-5 years Finance Manager with Strong Accounts Payable
  • Solid accounts payable experience and understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
