Salesforce Global Communications is looking for an accomplished project coordinator with hands-on experience managing complex programs and initiatives. This individual will be the go-to resource for all Salesforce events for the Global Comms team plus work cross functionally on high impact projects across the organization.

This candidate is a passionate, charismatic, enthusiastic and experienced project coordinator who will work closely with various technical and non-technical team members; managing but also actively participating in assigned projects. The right candidate will have a creative mindset and can-do attitude as well as the ability to adapt to fast-changing priorities. This individual must also develop trusted relationships with key partners and stakeholders including senior executives and will serve as a go-to resource for all projects under their management.

The project coordinator is a results-oriented, highly assertive, dedicated member of the team who is committed to driving the organization by identifying and delivering on priorities while always looking to continuously improve and refine the process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and operationalize Global Comms role at events and create playbooks for success

  • Plan, scope and create timelines for strategic Comms activities & manage day-to-day execution of programs

  • Organize and facilitate project planning, weekly meetings, shared calendars, team hubs, post mortems and presentations

  • Track milestones, tasks, and key metrics with assigned teams and communicate regular updates to team leads and executives on progress, updates, and flags

  • Interface with onsite event experience teams, cross functional stakeholders, and comms leads

  • Partner with 3rd party agency teams on plans and execution

  • Identify and remove impediments that block the team's ability to meet project objectives

  • Continually evaluate and refine team processes including scope, milestones, flow, playbooks & resources

  • Build credibility, respect and partnership with our project teams, executive stakeholders and peers globally

Required Skills:

  • Outstanding organizational, communication (verbal/presentation/written), and interpersonal skills

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience required

  • Ability to think strategically and demonstrate attention to detail, while being agile and flexible enough to move tactics forward instantaneously.

  • Demonstrated project leadership skills, with direct responsibility for managing project teams, budget, and schedule

  • Experience with project management tools, programs & resourcing

  • Experience in fast-moving events and technology project launches is a plus

  • Proven experience working with large teams across multiple departments and functions

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working in a marketing, communications, journalism, and/or creative environments a big plus.

  • Experience leading process improvements is a plus.

  • Experience managing external vendors or 3rd party teams.

  • Experience implementing AI and/or automation solutions for process efficiencies.
