HX5 is currently seeking a Business Intelligence Automation Specialist to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract in Colorado Springs, CO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated reporting solutions using Microsoft Power Automate.
• Streamline our reporting processes by creating automated workflows that publish reports to various dashboards, ensuring stakeholders receive timely and accurate business intelligence.

Salary Range: This position is expected to pay $145,000 - $165,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Education andExperience:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:

• Must have 14, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
• Must have 7, or more, years of directly related experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or process automation
• Must have 1, or more, years of experience working in a management or leadership role
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow)
• Must have experience with Power BI, including report creation and dashboard management
• Must have knowledge of data connections and API integrations
• Must be familiar with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 ecosystem
• Must have an understanding of data formats (Excel, CSV, JSON, XML)
• Must have basic knowledge of SQL and data querying
• Must have demonstrated experience creating and managing automated workflows
• Must have experience with report development and dashboard creation
• Must have work experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools
• Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  

Desired Requirements:

• Have Microsoft Power Platform certifications (Power Automate, Power BI)
• Have experience with additional BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
• Have knowledge of Azure services and cloud-based data solutions
• Have experience with Python, R, or other data analysis programming languages
• Have Project management experience
• Have a professional background in business analysis or data science

Other Position Requirements:

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain the required level clearance by date of hire.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
